Low swelling
Hydrogels, by nature, absorb liquid when placed in a solution, which can lead to swelling of the implant. Adherus displayed a dimensional change of only 8% due to water uptake compared to other dural sealant (38%).2

Adherus maintains significant burst strength above physiological intracranial pressure in an in vitro model. The crosslinker with Adherus AutoSpray Dural Sealant has been designed with an average of 17 crosslinking endpoints to increase strength and minimize swelling.1, 2

Easy set-up and application
Adherus hydrogel is ready to use in 1-minute; it sets in approximately one second and remains where it is applied.3
